Kia Ora Whanau
The interest in the proposed native planting at Mataora has been very positive.
I have therefore agreed to conduct two planting days over the weekend (Saturday) to enable those who want to participate that opportunity.
My guys (5) will be on hand to ensure what goes in the ground is done so the right way in the right place.
The dates are Saturday 27 May and Saturday 3 July 2023.
We will be planting the steep valley adjacent to the Bay Road and will have approx. 10000 plants to establish.
I ask that whanau be at the woolshed at approx. 830 am and will return to the woolshed for Hakari at approx. 12:30 pm.
I will be responsible for everything including Hakari and will be calling on Whanau to assist.
I would appreciate if you could help me convey this message to wider whanau and possibly advise on interest so that we can cater accordingly.
